In love with the art of dance. She continued her dancing dream throughout church and also school. She took a year off to try cheerleading but found her self right back to the art of dance. From there Shanequa furthered her dreams into high-school where she auditioned for her school dance company, this particular dance team touched on the genres of ballet , jazz, contemporary and hip hop style of dance. In making the team Shanequa also became captain for (2) years. As captain she was trusted with so many opportunities to lead her team. Whether she was teaching someone else's choreography or creating her own, she found herself to be a natural born leader. Under the leadership of her coach Mrs. Ryan she allowed Shanequa to choreograph the entire show for her teams senior night. With that blessing Shanequa got right to work. From there Shanequa’s godparents offered their daycare center to her, to host classes for young girls who wanted to learn to dance. After being in the center for 2 years, Coach Shanequa branched out  into a studio where she now holds classes for girls who want to learn and love the art of dance.

For the next ____ years, Coach Shanequa would lead her Doll's to not only be community advocates and leaders, but also be recognized locally and nationally as an award winning studio. In 2023, Coach Shanequa was crowned Miss Dance USA and also received the prestigious title as The Best Boss Dance School. She has partnered with many non-profits, public and private schools, and local businesses to raise money for her students and also provides opportunities for her dancers to learn about philanthropy and volunteering for those in need.
